My introduction
Hi there -- I am brand spankin new to the Macro community, fresh off the road from a weeklong stay at The Kushi Institute in MA.
What led me down this road was an unexpected lung cancer diagnoses in January of 2003. As a 33 year old never-smoker, you could have knocked me over with a feather following that diagnoses! In any event, I had surgery, followed by chemo/radiation and was given the "all clear" in June of 2003. Fast forward to January 2005 -- I've got some "suspicious" nodules floating around my lungs, to small to biopsy, too small to do any thing with.....so the doctors are in "watch and wait" mode. I decided to be a little more proactive with my health, so here I am. Ready to "Heal Thyself"!

Welcome Hebbie. I'm new to Macrobiotics also. I'd be interested in hearing what you learned at The Kushi Institute.
Please share some of the things that you found important to note as a person that is new to the macrobiotic ways. Thanks, ColdCrystal
