Greetings from San Diego
I just joined today.
I took a class today called Healing with Whole Foods. The instructor(Mina Dobic) was very informative. She actually cooked for the class and I was hooked. The food was so good. I have been searching for a way to eat and feel better. I don't eat red meat but I do eat things that are not good for me(junk food). I also have high blood pressure. I hope to learn more from this forum. Carol |

Carole,
Congratulations! You hit the jackpot, apparently! Mina Dobic http://www.minadobic.com/ is a very highly regarded macrobiotic teacher/counselor/author who I just recently discovered while reading The Hip Chick's Guide to Macrobiotics:A Philosophy for Achieving a Radiant Mind and a Fabulous Body by Jessica Porter http://store.cybermacro.com/hipchicks.php and Jessica's Resources page at her website: http://www.hipchicksmacrobiotics.com/resources.html . A woman friend in San Diego of a woman friend of mine here in Massachusetts is seeking to share cooking and eating macrobiotic foods there, in San Diego. Would you be interested in making her acquaintance and exploring some possibilities in that direction? Thank you, very much. Bruce Paine |
