I'd recommend that you check out Seattle's macrobiotic Meetup group. It's not very large yet, but is an excellent way to get in touch with others in town. http://macrobiotic.meetup.com/11/

I'm on the opposite coast (NYC) but finding my local macro Meetup group has been a wonderful way to connect with people -- some of whom have turned out to live right around my block!

thanks, i actually just went on the seattle macro meetup and decided to be the organizer since it's quite a small group with mostly inactive members. i encourage anybody else in seattle to join and let's get together! when i was in college several of us had a vegan potluck every sunday - it would be so great to do that with macrobiotics, though more tricky perhaps... -v
