I said tao ?, yes, in food? she explained it to me .The books, cook books and this big yellow Michio kushi seemed like , to complicated, I choose the little black one with the red "sun" I thought , zen, thats cool, I read it 3 times straight through, it made total sense. I bought all new food the next day. read and studied everything I could find and have lived this way ever since and do not plan to stop doing so.
I do have one troubling thing at this time and it is that, try as imight to get my old Dad to eat better , he dosent believe me that it will make a difference. Finally I have considered that since I am the only macro person he has ever seen and I am not ill and never was ( other than some allergy,arthritis, pms, annoying old injuries and afew other imbalances which all clesred up within 3 months of my 1 day conversion 12 years ago) He sees no difference in me , as I never complained to him back when I had those problems, He dosent think that any things changed at all and to him I am still "young" He had no illness at my age( very strong constitution) Now he's 70 and has had a few heart attacks, Has all the signs and symptoms of bad kidneys, leg swelling ,bad circulation ect, over weight, sedentary, blaa, blaa, blaa.
Now that it's gotten to this point the doctors have told him that he can not exercise and that he has irrepairable heart damage, low lung capacity ect. I have tried explain how some healing is possible and his response is "do you know anyone who has done this?" I have to say that I really am not in touch with many macro people especially older people with the same (similar) conditions as my father and even though many of us are adventureus enough to try it on idea? theroy, whatever get us into it, It does not seem so unreasonable for some one, especially old and stuck in their ways, to want to see the real thing in a way they can relate to.
SO I AM ASKING IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW IS AN OLD GUY (MAYBE A WOMAN) WHO HAS HEALED OR IS HEALING SAME/SIMILAR CONDITIONS MACROBIOTICALLY/DIETARILY AND WOULD LIKE TO TELL THEIR STORY TO MY DAD, IT MIGHT HELP HIM SEE SOMETHING FOR HIMSELF AND HELP HIM AS I HAVE NOT IMPRESSED HIM AND AS SUCH AM NO HELP TO HIM, MAYBE YOU CAN BE THE ONE. THE LEAST AND MOST THAT I CAN DO AT THIS POINT IS ASK YOU !
