My name is Jeannette and I am newly macro. I have been interested for quite some time, but just recently decided to go full force. After meeting with Mina Dobic, I decided this is the lifestyle for me! After a few terrible diseases struck my family, we decided that there was something else out there that could help us, and then we stumbled upon macrobiotics. I love this community and I'm looking forward to meeting some wonderful people. Thanks for all the great tips and info.

About your saying that you are new to macrobiotics, we have a poll on Cybermacro running, and the majority of people answering have been macro less than a year. This is really a positive thing that new people are getting interested in it.

Can you tell us Jeannette if there is anything in particular that you would like to see on the web site that would be helpful to someone newer to macrobiotics.

Thanks for the quick response Gary. I am pretty familiar with macro because my mom has been on the diet for awhile now (she has cancer) and I've done my research; however, there is so much to learn! I definitely will take some classes and read as much as possible. I am fascinated by it all. I was wondering though, if anyone on this site has been plagued with amenorrea. I have had this problem for about 10 years now and I'm currently getting treated for it. I'm a bit nervous because nothing thus far has helped me so I'm praying that macro is the answer. It has been a struggle, but I think that I have finally found my cure. Only time will tell!

Anyone have any insight? Much appreciation!
