Talking Hello all Macro Friends

I am so happy!!!! I found this site by accident (though in this case I would't call it accident - more like good fortune) and I signed up right away. I hope to make many new friends as I feel quite lonely in Norway as a macrobiotic person. (Though I know I am not alone.)
My name is Anja.
I met a man who must be - as far as I know - Europe's only doctor in macrobiotics. When he told me I could get rid of my cancer just by eating differently I was so fascinated. I went to Spain to get well, to study and to work at STAR CENTER. I did get well; have been a macrobiotic person for 6 years now. I got myself a title as Macrobiotic Technical Specialist (nurse for those who choose a macrobiotic treatment).

I am now trying to get to know my ways around this site. I also have a question: Am going to Italy this week end, flying in to Verona (hopefully the name is the same in English, I only know it Norwegian). Would anybody happen to know of macrobiotic restaurants, centers, people in that area?

Also I am sure it is possible to find it somewhere on this site but, nevertheless - if anybody would like to send me mail my address is:
anjatumert@hotmail.com

C U, friends!

Anja

Here is a website that might be a good starting point:

http://www.macrobiotics.co.uk/worldwide/italy.htm

I find it interesting that until a couple of years ago one could find no links or websites for Italy and when I asked about that I was told that macrobiotic Italians are not interested in the Internet or computers, as though the whole Italian macrobiotic community was rejecting the digital present and future but I guess that is starting to change.

Please, let us know what you find that is useful to you.

Thank you, very much.
