I am desperately trying to find a macrobiotic treatment center or private macrobiotic teacher in central Alabama. I have searched and searched the internet and the only thing I can find are schools. Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for the information. I will definately follow up on that lead. I was very surprised to come up empty handed when trying to find this information in the Birmingham area. I grew up in Huntsville and am familiar with Garden Cove; but not with the others. I'll be sure to look them up next time I am in the area. I am trying to help a friend who has recently stopped shunning the idea that diet controls our health. I feel it is very important to take this opportunity to get her some information while the door is cracked. I was raised in the "health food world" and have succumbed to the temptations of the the junk food world. The seed was definately sown by my wonderful mother- and am feeling such a strong pull currently; I think that my friend's need is also opening up an opportunity for me to start living "what I already know". My mother also passed along the ability to use a thousand words to say a few! Sorry if this is more information than you ever wanted to know. Thank you again for your help - it is very much appreciated.

My friend contacted Mr Otto via phone and he gave her the information she needed. From what she told me of their conversation, I feel that he is exactly the person she was supposed to talk to. She is on her way.... I can't thank you enough. This is in addedum to the private message I sent.
