Newbie!!
Hello all- I'm new to the forum, and to living MB. I have been reading about MB for a few years now and have several books. I am currently an overweight and out of shape Medic/FF with a few health problems (HTN, sleep apnea). I know that all of this is caused from a combination of a sedentary lifestyle, and very poor food choices. I currently eat to many harmful foods including burgers, steaks, dairy and to many sweets. I also enjoy beer, but have learned to cut back. I am going slow at first, nothing to drastic. Beginning by replacing most of my food choices with brown rice (pressure cooked), miso soups with sea veggies, and bancha tea. I also eat a fair amount of fruits in the morning that I will be replacing with rice or whole oats. Any way any tips/advice, good recipes or ideas are greatly welcome. Thanks in advance- Shawn
