Hello Everyone

My name is Chelsa. I'm 19 years old and I've suffered with an eating disorder for quite sometime now, upon which I've become fascinated with health. I've come to the point where I'm getting better and trying to love my body and nurture it properly inorder to stay both slim and healthy. I basically eat all vegetables, soy, whole grains and the occasional fish already but after reading some on this whole macrobiotic concept I've decided this is the lifestyle for me. I really think this is the answer to all of my problems. I'm wondering if there is book any of you would recommend for me? I want to learn more about how to balance my yin & yang! Thanks so much for any suggestions!!!

Hi Chelsea,

You might start by reading The Hip Chick's Guide to Macrobiotics : A Philosophy for Achieving a Radiant Mind and a Fabulous Body by Jessica Porter
.

A good cookbook for healing (though there are many others) is The Self-Healing Cookbook: A Macrobiotic Primer for Healing Body, Mind and Moods With Whole Natural Foods by Kristina Turner.

Please let us know if you have any more questions or concerns.

Be your best and be blessed!

Thank you, very much.
