andy, your kitchen sounds wonderful/I have private clients all over the tri-state area, but none on the Island right now. Cold Spring \harbor is wonderful. if you put a group together, we could talk about my coming out...let\s stay in touch and happy new year.

Re: recently joined
Quick question as long as I have you here : )
For my ten day brown rice thigamajiggy...How much water you recommend to cook the rice in? I'm thinking more than 2:1 being its all I'm eating. I could only find medium grain. they were out of short grain. I'm using a pressure cooker so does thirty minutes sound about right? I think I need it mushier than normal and to chew it up even more than I might in order to get as many nutrients as possible out of those lil' suckers. Whatcha think? Thanks andy |
