hey all. I've been perusing this forum for a few minutes and thought i'd say my hellos and wonder, are there others of you out there that are in your 20's and manhattanite macros along with me? Have we passed each other in that tight "super weird" aisle of the Westerly natural market? You know, that aisle where all the bonito flakes and tekka and kuzu live, the aisle that's the dustiest of them all?!? Do you also plague the confused produce guys for the daikon leaves in the back room or the next shipment of mochi? ;-)
Tiny bit about me: I'm 26, pleasantly single, an ex marathon runner that permanently damaged her knee, but is healing through amazing macro foods and ashtanga along with a well used gym membership. I'm curious as to who else is out there like me on this tiny island filled with lots of different people, and 3 awesome natural stores within 5 miles! |

Re: manhattan macro
Hi there,
I've just moved to Manhattan minutes ago and run into this site in looking for resources (after having looked throught the happy cow site, was looking for recommendations). I'm 31, former dancer (also bummed knee) now a photographer. I imagine there must be many of us macro's here, but how do we find the community? Any favourite places to shop at would be helpful! Cheers! |
