Your lucky parentsI wonder if your parents realize how lucky they are having you cook such wonderful dishes for them??!!!!! I look forward to hearing how it all went. Good for you for sticking to the foods through what others consider quite "challenging" times. And good for your parents for being so open to it.

 You are both always so supportive!I really enjoyed cooking this entire meal- it ended up quite delicious and everyone enjoyed it (my dad was even pleased to replace the "real meat", it turns out tofurkeys are a lot easier to "carve" hahaha). The tofurkey was really good, and the vegetables were fresh and complimented it very well. But everyone seemed to enjoy the squash dish the most, my trick was cooking it with just a teaspoon of organic maple syrup to give it a sweet twist.  |
