Progress after a long time.

We combined 4 generations into one house over the summer. It was a challenge, but well worth it. No more worrying and running from house to house or cooking for 2 at a time.
In this process, I have been able to use my macrobiotic dishes in the meals for all the people. The provided them with healthier alternatives and gave me more variety than cooking a recipe I would eat for 4-5 days in a row.
I have been doing better with ruling out dairy. I have not removed dairy entirely, but I am almost there. Just need to provide some more Mochi alternatives for those days when mom cooks instead of me.
In the process we have identified a few dishes that everyone enjoys. They are Tofu Pockets, Brussel Sprouts with Chestnuts on a bed of brown rice, Mushrooms stuffed with millet in a beet broth (Eric & Sanae's Book).
I hope everyone is living their life with purpose.
