unbelievable sweet tooth
Hi all-
I'm pretty new to macrobiotics. It's been about 6 months that I've been slowly switching to a macro lifestyle. At this point, I eat white fish but no other animal products. The one thing I've been having trouble with is my sweet tooth. I didn't have much of one before macrobiotics but over the past two months, I've found myself craving sweets daily. I do make macro desserts 3-4 times a week and try to include apples, grapes, or bananas once or twice a week. But the craving is for refined white sugar.
Any suggestions on balancing this craving with other foods? I'm not sure why, all of a sudden, it's been so intense. (I have cut down on salty items like miso and shoyu in the past few weeks.)
