No menses
I have been macro for more than a year, but more narrow recently. my period has noto been regular. I have not menstruated in nearly 4 months. Anyone relate? I am getting quite yang, and am going to try to incorporate more fat and protein, as recommended by an acupuncturist.

Re: No menses
I can't relate exactly, as my "female" problems have been quite different, and I've never missed a period. However I do think that if your diet is VERY low in fat (e.g., healing macrobiotic) you could very well have your estrogen levels drop low enough to miss your period. Definitely add some fat (but how much I don't know--i'm still trying to figure this out myself). There may be other reasons, of course, but this is likely enough to be worth a serious try. Also, I've found the daikon hip baths to be VERY powerful for other "female" problems, and have read here that one women seriously straightened out her amennorhea after only one bath! I believe this as I can feel the power of the baths when I do them (which is often, lately, though I can't tell you what the final verdict is on my condition, which is uterine fibroids). I've gotten the leaves at a pan Asian market. They're dried and packaged in Korea, so korean markets are likely to have them. They cost about 2.99 a package, which I use in one bath. hope this helps.

Re: No menses
By the way, as I wrote in the other forum, I became insanely yang after two macro months with almost NO oil. Eek. Add some oil. Also I tried some black soybean tea, seemed to help the horribly yang symptoms (but i'm not an expert on this, just a lay person's suggestion). DEFINITELY add some oil.
