Exclamation 48th Pacific Macrobiotic Conference near Asheville, North Carolina

Hi,

I just spoke to Kaare Bursell of the Alchemycal Pages http://www.alchemycalpages.com/ and he says that the 48th Pacific Macrobiotic Conference will be taking place in Horseshoe, North Carolina, this coming September 16 -19, 2004 (Thursday, through Sunday) just 22.5 miles southeast of Asheville http://maps.yahoo.com/dd_result?ed=x...NC&tcountry=us .

"Our hosts are
Ian Hood and Trish Wilson,
134 Schoolhouse Road,
Horseshoe, NC 28742.

Tel # 828-891-3349

For lodging you can either camp - the property has 3-4 acres of space - or
lodge at a motel. The motel in Horseshoe is:

Adventure Inn ( in Horseshoe itself) -828-891-8924.

The following are about 15-20 minute drive from Horseshoe:

Apple Inn -800-615-6611 http://www.appleinn.com
Chateau On The Mountain - 888-591-6281 http://www.chateauonthemountain.com
Claddagh Inn - 800-225-4700 http://www.claddaghinn.com
Clock House Inn - 828-696-1810 http://www.clockhouseinn.com
Echo Mountain Inn - 888-324-6466 http://www.echoinn.com
Budget Motel - 828-684-2200
Inn On Church Street - 800-330-3836 http://www.innspiredinns.com
Briarwood Motel - 800-832-2032 http://www.briarwoodmotel.com

There are ten choices here which I figure should be enough. There are more if you want them - let Ian know.

No Video taping - it is too intrusive. You can tape record if you want.

Kaare" Bursell

I was at the 1984 Pacific Macrobiotic Conference in Los Angeles with Michio and Aveline Kushi, Herman and Cornelia Aihara, Jacques and Yvette deLangre, many others including Kaare Bursell, and Roy and Marijke Steevensz and a grand time was had by all, so I encourage anyone who can go to not miss it!

Thank you, very much.
