Polls, PUBLIC, private or what?

The best thing I like about your polls is the clever and humorous way you give the options. But I much prefer people explaining their opinions, gives much more depth to the topic at hand.

Well, I see that besides the five or six times that I went back to see how many votes there were, that maybe twenty people viewed the thread but only 4 people voted, so my guess is that most of the viewers don't care and therefore I'm free to proceed as I wish with my next poll....that is, unless more people vote in the next 15 hours while I'm out, driving taxi!

I don't see polls as replacing conversation (which includes feelings and opinions) but instead, giving participants more things to discuss, if they wish!
