Entering blogs

Mira,

Your last entreaty that others also blog entered my heart and tho I had good intentions, I didn't have a clue technologically how to enter it. I assume you'll be reading the forum section also.

Although I enjoy very much having dialogue, and I guess I am braver than many in disclosing personal facts about my life, the truth is the idea of actually writing to who knows whom all my thoughts is quite overwhelming. You need to be quite brave to bare your soul. Although I recognize I may be doing a service as there may be others experiencing the same challenges as I am, I still feel like I can't admit how not mb I am sometimes. Yet even I prescribe that being open and honest is truthfully what can advance us. It's quite a dilemna.

I went to an all day mb event the other day, and there was a panel of "newbies" who spoke of how they got involved, how they used to feel and what wonderful changes they have experienced. One especially was so dedicated - on one hand, it was inspiring to hear her. On the other hand, someone else who was new admitted how difficult it was for her, and I felt badly for her, wondering if she thought everyone else must be as dedicated as the one who spoke, and she, well, might have felt she just won't succeed.

All of us are different, also conditions, also constitutions, and obviously, also how we progress. I fully realize this in my head and my head only. In my heart I also don't want others to know where I goof - I certainly don't want to blog about it - I'm certain it has to do with my growing up and forever being criticized in what I've done wrong. I KNOW there is no right and wrong in mb, only yin and yang and their interaction, balance and imbalance - still.....

Again, Mira, I think you are doing remarkably well and gaining great insights. I posted a comment, you have to go into the post to see it (forget which blog I posted it on). btw, where in Australia are you studying? I just got off the phone with someone mb who lives there, and I know there are others - oh, yes, I know Australia is huge, but it's worth seeing if you can find someone else - it's more fun sharing with people who are there with you.

Also there are some blogs by mb people, tho not where you blog - tho their's are more info, and your is more of your journey, which is a pleasure to read.

Have you read some of the older blogs that have been posted here - also wonderful reading.

Oh, and don't worry about not doing as well as you were (the physical exercise) or about when school is over and then you'll do x,y. and z - just enjoy the moment - as school is the big part of your life, see how that fits into the yin and yang of it all, and enjoy!!!!!!!!!

Love
Klara

Re: Entering blogs

thank you for the wonderful advice and experiences. i have already seen an MB teacher here and attended a potluck so i know a few macrobiotics around here already. yes, i have read most of the previous blogs but notice that theyre from a long time back. i do understand though that MB is a different experience for different people and some are less interested in documenting their experiences then others like myself. But thank you for the lovely encouragement and advice and comments on my blog. i wish u the best of luck in your MB journey too.
Mira
