Roy Collins is on a distinguished road
BB: It is important to have a large variety of all foods in macrobiotics and all diets, besides grains. Quinoa is not a
grain but rather a goosefoot seed. It is quite yin and should
not be used as a regular staple.

It would be a good idea for you to soak all your grains
(wheat, barley, rice, oats, corn, rye, millet) overnight before cooking and use a little more water during the cooking process.
To help minimize irritation of the colon from the higher fibre
foods you can blend your cooked food with a hand mill into
a puree form.

Make sure that you eat a little miso with seawed and scallion
daily, as well as a little fresh garlic to help neutralize the excess
bacteria in the body. This will minimize inflammation and irritation of the bowel. Also try drinking Pao d'Arco tea steeped with
bancha as your main beverage. You can get this from most
health food stores. I'm not sure if it is available at cybernaturals
but you can inquire there as well.

I hope this helps.

In peace, Roy
