S: My understanding of it, so far is that it's kind of like the American expression "There are two sides to every coin" Only we tend to look as it as a good side and a bad side a positive side and a negative side. The orientals, if I understand it correctly, look at it as more of a balance, or a complement, and not as good or bad, but acknowledge that each object has one side and then the other side is it's opposite (a fundamentalist way of looking at it) or (complement - a more spiritual way of looking at it.
