I am happy to have found a macrobiotic forum on the internet. Personally I am new to macrobiotics, but very inspired by Ohsawa's life story, the effects the diet is supposed to have, and by what I read in Aveline Kushi's book.
I want to use MB to get my digestion to work like a blast furnace (because at the moment it's not...), to reduce muscular tension in the chest, neck and head area, and to soothen and calm my mind.
I tried eating only rice for ten days (diet nr. 7?) already twice (some time ago that is), but felt no effects whatsoever and I still don't know why, but I hope to find out.
I'm 28, male and I live close to London.
