Did you write the article on cigarette smoking and macrobiotics? It blew me away. I felt the earth shift when I read that Michio Kushi still smokes. What sort of self deceiving person continues to smoke in light of all the scientific info linking cigarettes w/ a myraid of disease? This article made me question my adherance to macro...I've been very strict on a healing diet (for inherited cancer--gene defect) maybe it's time to use common sense. I am still so shocked that people can deceive themselves and justify smoking!
