hi everyone! wasnt sure where to put this post, i wanted to try the health forum but i didnt really think this was specifically about MB, and not really a question either. I just wanted to start a discussion about why the western world goes trhough these strange fad diets like fat free and VERY low carb? why dont ppl realize that carbs might be your artery clogging monsters in some foods but also your best friends in many others?

why cant society see the difference between steamed sweet potatos and deep fried potatos? and why does everyone at my school and many other high schools trying to lose weight eat tiny amounts of junk instead of healthy amounts of nutritional food ?(including the teachers

) what drives this world to take weight off the hard way when diets like macrobiotics are effective AND healthy?
