Re: Delightful reading
Thank u so much!
Well, my mother was looking into ways to lose weight, and exploring some cooking classes. She starting taking a Macrobiotic class, and brought home some materials and phamplets about MB from her class. I starting reading them , took an interest, and explored it on the internet. I then did a research report on it for school and began to chnage my diet. My parents arent Macrobiotic, or on any specialized diet, but are eating much healthier since ive restocked my pantry and fridge. I dont allow them to bring home any junk food or take away, but they still keep yogurt , diet sodas , alcoholic drinks, and chicken around the house. I'd love it if they became Macrobiotic too, but I'm glad I've gotten them to eat a bit healthier (no more ordering pizza or junk food at parties) and that they support me in my diet. Although, sometimes when we go to the movies or to a restaurant i have no control over them buying an ice cream or steak, and just have to let them live their life how tey want to. I dont want to "convert" anyone, i think everyone should eat what makes them happy. Even though it would be nice if happymeant healthy for everyone too. I normally cook my own food, but when Ive got after school commitments or during exams my dad usually doesnt mind putting together a salad or heating up some miso soup for me. I love to cook anyway, it relaxes me and keeps my mind and body active.
Thanks again.
