Delightful reading
Gary,
I didn't see where there was a place to post a response on Mira's "first entry" which I guess means it's a blog. I was totally delighted, and most especially knowing she's in the 9th grade. WOW -
and I had so many questions and comments for her - tho it did say I could post her privately, I enjoy having a feeling of community here, and who knows, there might be other kids on this forum.
My daughter was 14 years old when she got daring to bring "strange" foods to school and she was VERY VERY shy about it - she'd rather eat by herself than be noticed - but maybe she was lucky, because her friends were intrigued by her foods and she shared when she was asked and everybody LOVED it - but she wasn't into trying to change others. Too shy for that.
Where are your parents in all this???? You cook all your own food????Wow, wish you were my daugher!!!!
Please, do NOT ever worry that you are boring anyone with what you write. Believe me, you have no idea who reads, and ALWAYS, there'll be people who love it and people who are full of criticism - you know, just can't please all the people all the time. So don't even bother. Please yourself, BE yourself, share from your heart and it WILL enter another heart.
And continue your love of cooking and the food - it will attract others, and then you can share your food, and that's even a bigger pleasure, and then you may attract others who also want to share their mb food - and boy, you'll be flying then!!!!!!
Keep up the great work - and soon you won't even know how, that depression will slip into oblivion!!!! You will learn how to balance, and you will learn to love all the food, even seaweeds, just be patient. How did you learn mb? Whom do you go to when you have questions??
All the best to you - you've got a GREAT LIFE to look forward to!!
Love
Klara
