And they put up a fight over one veggie...

I have two boys ages five and two and a non-veggie eating husband. I am new to macrobiotics but when I become better and more experienced, I would like to maybe start cooking macrobiotic family meals. I am not sure if this will even be possible and I have already told myself if it is not and my family won't eat macrobiotic meals, then life will have to go on. My two boys dislike veggies so much it is like a battle to just get them to eat a piece of cooked carrot! My husband will eat some veggies but not too many because he doesn't enjoy them, but luckily does not pass views on the kids. Actually I am suspecting I will have problems with the whole macrobiotic meals, so I was wondering if any of you have tried this with your family and got any positive results? Any ideas on how I could be successful with this, or should I only try maybe incorporating a thing here and there into meals? Maybe I should not try at all? because this is a choice that individuals should make on their own? Any thoughts?
