You can use Rapadura if you want and if it has no negative effect on your health, you can use it all you want.
Most people who have been eating a diet centered with whole grains (especially organic brown rice) and temperate climate vegetables for a good while might find regular consumption of Rapudura to be too (yin) strong for them, so they might find using (more yang) sweeteners like rice syrup, barley malt, amasake, and cooked temperate climate fruit to be easier for them to eat in occasional desserts.
