bi-polar, mood swings?

I've been studying macrobiotics for about 1 1/2 years. I don't actively eat it daily, but when things start to get rough, I turn to macrobiotic healing over prescription medication. Anyways, my fiance has been very up and down lately for the past couple of months. One minute she's happy, the next she's mad, the next she's sad. I don't understand what is wrong with her. Is it just me? I think her body needs more balance but she doesn't like eating macrobiotic foods (to her they are "too bland") and I tell her that even if she thinks like that, they still are beneficial foods and she sould eat them because of that and that alone. She still doesn't budge. So I'm asking if there are any recipes you could reccomend or remedies that are "tastier", so my fiancee can eat them? I sure as heck don't know why she thinks whole grains, beans, things like that are bland but I guess it's all about chemicals, preservitives, etc anymore.

Please help me help her
