You wrote here, right? You reached out asking for help, right? Thats not , nothing. Perhaps you work better in a group. Is this possible? Maybe thats they way you should "start" persuing things...in a group. It may prove to be a more inspiring way to become proactive.
Hey, don't feel bad. I've been speaking English for 55 years and I still suck at it and I'm from New York...LOL.
I'm not so sure this problem will be solved through food or can be coined in a single phrase. Sounds to me like you need more motivation which is why I suggest starting off working in groups.
I've been a meditator now for over twenty years and find no problem turning my brain down a few notches from, "thought? Thats a good thing by the way. Its good as long as its your choice and you use it to your advantage. You possibly might be the typ of person that needs to "compartmentalize" more.
That is.....take small steps and keep them all lined up so you can "consciously" work them individually at first. Use that as a sort of an exercise until you find yourself at ease at acomplishing small goals. After a time with it...you should be able to mix it all up and become more spontanious with it all.
Try meditating for a few minutes each day and build your meditation practice up to a half hour a day. Perhaps your mind is reeling out of control in too many directions all at once. Slow down bro and relax. Life is good...enjoy all the ups and downs cause like I said....its all good. Especially when you're healthy!
BE well
Namaste'
