Follow the standard diet. Be sure to be balanced in your cooking. Do not skip those dishes that are yin balancing at a meal. It takes 4 months before your blood is renewed so be disciplined and patient. Take cooking classes and take this time to really read and apply your new knowledge to your meal preparation. Typically during winter and to much yang cooking and grain consumption (mainly brown rice) we get sluggish, heavy feeling, lack of drive, depressed...sounding familiar. Best of luck.
