This is such a fantastic topic because it is a wee bit confusing for me as well so thank you Ilanit for the vital info you shared on "naturally carbonated spring water".
I've recently read that carbonated waters and drinks can diminish bone mass and can add to gastrointestional problems.
But as you said, what of naturally occuring springs where the water bubbles up from the source mineral enriched...? That sounds pretty impressive, and healthy if nature intended it, so it should be beneficial ... (?)
I guess like everything else, perhaps it is best consumed in moderation, perhaps just have some naturally carbonated spring water as a treat if you are out and about and want that fizzy little feeling, but drink still mineral or spring as part of your daily water intake.
What do you think?
