My direction and introduciton!

My name is Jacob. I am 19 years old from Washington State. I am a software programmer. I've been learning macrobiotics for about 1 year now. I'm good friends with AgentX

My direction::

I am sure you get threads like this all the time. I am just wondering if my direction seems to work ok to offer advice and write about?

I believe (I've been learning macrobiotics about 1 year now) that Macrobiotics alone isn't enough. I believe that there must be a certain balance. I believe that balance is unqiue to each person. I believe that what may work for one person doesn't nesscarily work for someone else. I understand the importance of Macrobiotics and the things that it offers the body; nourishment, hapiness, fufilment. I've been spending a lot of time in the books, surfing the net, etc in order to find a very understandable approach to it. See, I'm a bit different than some. I believe that your body needs to whined down before you start something like this. That you can't take it all in at once, and that it will take time to learn to control your diet and lifestyle.

Some people can jump in while others have to whined down. I'm one of those that needs to whined down. Instead of completely not eating my western staple diet completely, I minimize it. I eat it now and then and more and more introduce new variety of macrobiotics into my life. I understand the importance with each salad and soup I eat and create. I understand that the western way has just caused us to decline and more medicine to be introduced to "quick cure" something. I've lived that lifestyle for almost 18 years of my life. Just now am I understanding the change and I'm enjoying my path.

That's just it. I feel that if you are comfortable and progressing in this (unless you are sick) then you should take the time you need to get aquainted with it. Am I wrong? Thoughts?
