Re: Lack of fresh locally grown food in Canada during winter
Dear Bruce,
I am sorry about the semantics, English is not my native language. I think you did understand the gist of my message though. For being a person who appreciates peace, your response was quite aggressive. I am trying to establish a healthy regime for myself and my two-year-old daughter. I do shop at Community and Planet Organic for the most part, but that doesn't take care of the question of whether soy, seafood and other things that are not native to this environment are a healthy alternative. We keep a moderately active lifestyle in the harsh Canadian conditions, which as I mentioned, are not the same as my birthplace's. My daughter was born in Canada, but she is not only exposed to my influence in terms of food, and she will increasingly not be, so I would like to create a lifestyle she can easily adhere to even if at times she may succumb to peer pressure o just life in a culture where meat and potatoes has been the traditional fare for ages. I need more specifics around what's appropriate.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
