Re: Ginger Compresses and Spirituality
The lack of response leads me to believe few of the membership of Cybermacro are doing Ginger Compresses. It may seem difficult to prepare the ginger water or take the time to lie quietly while doing compresses. With routine, it becomes easy. For any who have arthritis, using a compress or a ginger bath is an immediate relief.
A Ginger Compress on the stomach area, from pelvis to chest, penetrates to the organ level releasing the buildup of excess fat that adults face in middle age. It is an exceptional home remedy for restoring the health of internal organs and rejuvenating the digestion process, thus allowing the individual to receive more nourishment from food.
During a compress routine of approximately 30 minutes a state of deep relaxation can be reached. This is an unequaled home remedy for pampering the body. The reason that I am following up on Bill Neall's post is that there is a spiritual state that is reached during a ginger compress session. These effects increase the more familiar one is with the process.
What I have found is that deep seated memories are released as the ginger penetrates to the cellular level of accumulation. If we were healthier, this accumulation would not be there. My theory is that we can hold memories (good or bad) in our cells. Just as our lives can become stagnant with excess clutter in our houses from a lifetime of experiences and memories, so can our bodies become stagnant with an excess of cellular debris. We call our emotional ghosts, "excess baggage". Adults are often unable to have healthy new relationships due to the emotional baggage they carry -- bringing unresolved issues from the past into a new relationship. This physical and emotional cellular debris is "excess baggage" that a ginger compress routine helps to release.
It is best to have a highly functioning body, similar to that of a child -- a body released of toxic accumulation and buildup, released of excess animal fats and mucus. It is best to have a home free of clutter, as Feng Shui Masters know. Just as Ki must freely flow in our homes, so must Ki freely flow in our bodies.
Memories, whether good or bad, should not play an excessive part in our present. They are life experiences we've already had and gained lessons from. We need to let go of the baggage in our homes, our bodies, and minds -- to reap the greatest rewards of the present and future.
