Re: water filter

Matt,

Get a clean glass quart jar and fill it with water from your well.

If it is the least bit cloudy, then you probably have dirt leaking in your well and you will need a sediment prefilter.

Because the well had been dug improperly at the one macrobiotic spa that I worked at many years ago, dirty water was being piped to the buildings where people cooked, and bathed.

One of my jobs for almost a month was to change the prefilter cartridges and wash them, and I did this upwards of thirty or more times a day.

That was until the well stopped leaking soil or the well was repaired.

You want a pitcher, faucet, countertop, under the counter, whole house, shower, or camping filter?

You want to have a nylon, GAC (granulated activated charcoal), solid block carbon, KDF (copper zinc), ceramic, R.O. (reverse osmosis), distiller, ultraviolet http://www.ultraviolet.com/whatis.htm, ozone, or any combination of media filtration?

I recommend that you first read the book, learn about water purifiers and think about what kind of device or system and purifying media you want.

After you identify what you want and need, then it will be much easier to find the company that fits that need.

Thank you, very much.
