Gooey Rice

For over a year I have been cooking my brown rice in a pot, using the boiling method. I have always had a nice pot of rice, cooking it on a low, low flame to avoid too much bubbling. Then I broke down and bought a pressure cooker. I dilegently read the instructions for cooking rice and my first few pots came out well. However, now I keep getting mushy-gooey rice. At first I thought I was adding too much liquid, but when I reduce the water, I get mushy rice that is burned on the bottom. So when I open my top, I find a thin layer of water, gooey gloppy rice, and burned rice on the bottom.

It doesn't taste bad, it is sort of creamy like breakfast rice, but it does not look nice. Am I over cooking it? Any tips? thank you
