I hope that macrobiotics is never subsidized by the government!!!

I don't think that it is very expensive. This website is free to me, and run by volunteers, right? The books aren't expensive. If a person had an impending health problem and went to a macrobiotic practitioner or institute, the costs would be considerably less than a doctor, hospital, medicine, or operation (although some people have health insurance which would cover the latter).
