Re: Ghosts
bckiceman,
The following is your opinion:
"For the record there are not ghosts."
Then you attempt to back up your opinion with a supposed fact, through a book that is believed by many to be the divine origin and authority of the word of God, but by many others it is just a book written by mere mortals espousing their beliefs of what took place thousands of years ago and what they believe God, Jesus, and other spiritual leaders said.
'The Bible states that "while the living are conscious of their spiritual needs, the dead are conscious of nothing".'
Does the Bible really tell the reader that there is a place of unconsciousness, that is neither Heaven nor Hell?
That's news to me!
"If you have had an experience with a ghost, it is most likely a demon."
What is a demon?
Is it a Biblical character or a construct that you have created?
Since the Bible and belief in it appears to be subjective, then opinions based on it might be subjective, as well.
I'm interested in any facts gathered about ghosts using objective criteria?
Anyone here have experiences that they've interpreted objectively?
Thank you, very much.
