Yeah raw! I think you need maw. Maybe a little salad dressing such as sesame/umeboshi. Waldorf salad has sliced apple and raisins in it (maybe sliced almonds too). You sound like you are geeting too yang too fast. This is a common problem with newbee macrobiotics. That is why I say to go into it gradually, otherwise you constrict too fast and then shortly after start binging on smoothies and coffee.
I don't know much about you or your past eating habits so I am playing it all by ear. It is important to have a broad understanding of macrobiotic philosophy before taking on the practice. I hope this helps.
