Strawberry Almond Cookies by Bita

Here is a groovy recipe for a whole grain, unleavened cookie, meaning these use no baking powder at all, which is considered rather unhealthy. These cookies are perfect for Spring, with a cup of green tea.

Don't have the time to make Bita's delicious cookies, not a problem! Bita will do all the work for you with her Freshly baked to order macrobiotic cookies being available right in CyberMacro's online store.

Bita is a vegan and macrobiotic baker for her business Baked By Bita and also cooks macrobiotic meals for her clients. Bita was raised in a macrobiotic home and wrote her senior thesis in college about macrobiotics and the yin-yang theory of food. She also currently teaches cooking classes at Sur La Table culinary store locations throughout the state, along with an intermediate macrobiotic cooking class at The Natural Gourmet Cooking School in NYC run by Annemarie Colbin. Bita has recently completed training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
