Amazake Tapioca Pudding
About ten years ago, Amazake puddings used to be produced by Grainaissance, and were widely available, in Whole Foods Markets for instance. Unfortunately these puddings are no longer being made by them, but here is their very own recipe so you can prepare them yourself. This gives you a naturally sweet rice pudding that's low in fat.
Makes approximately 6 servings
- 4 cups Grainaissance Chocolate or Almond Amazake
- 6 Tbsp. tapioca pearls (not quick-cooking)
Heat Amazake and tapioca pearls over a medium flame, Stirring frequently for 30-40 minutes. Pour into a serving dish and refrigerate. When cooled, it's ready to eat.
